Introduction to Abua Awas Yojana The Jharkhand government has launched the Abua Awas Yojana to provide concrete three-room houses to economically weaker sections. The scheme also aims to create employment opportunities for the unemployed. Beneficiaries from poor backgrounds receive ₹2 lakh in installments to build their homes.
Update on the 3rd Installment
In the 2023-24 financial year, 2 lakh individuals were selected for this scheme. However, only 1 lakh 60 thousand received the first and second installments due to various reasons. The distribution of the third installment has now begun. To date, 1430 beneficiaries have received ₹1 lakh each as the third installment.
Eligibility for the 3rd Installment
To be eligible for the third installment, beneficiaries must:
– Have received the first and second installments.
– Have completed construction work up to Lilton stage.
– Have completed the Geo Tech process, which can be done with the help of the concerned employee or head.
– Have an active Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) status.
Benefits of Abua Awas Yojana
The scheme offers a total of ₹2 lakh for building a three-room house, disbursed in four installments:
1. ₹30,000 as the first installment
2. ₹50,000 as the second installment
3. ₹1,00,000 as the third installment
4. ₹20,000 as the fourth installment
Additionally, beneficiaries receive ₹25,840 under MNREGA for further assistance.
Steps to Download the 3rd Installment Beneficiary List
Applicants who wish to check their names on the beneficiary list for the third installment can follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website: https://aay.jharkhand.gov.in
2. Click on the “Beneficiary List” button on the homepage.
3. Select your district, block, panchayat, and village.
4. Enter your application number or mobile number in the provided field.
5. Click on “Submit.”
6. The beneficiary list will appear on your screen. Click “Download” to save it.
