Jharkhand’s Maiya Samman Yojana Empowering Women with Financial Assistance

Chief Minister Extends Application Deadline to December The Jharkhand government has introduced the Maiya Samman Yojana to provide financial support to women, offering ₹1,000 per month, totaling ₹12,000 annually. Although the initial application deadline was August 15, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has extended it to December 2024 to enable more women to apply and benefit from the scheme.

Over 30 Lakh Applications Submitted

As of now, over 30 lakh women have applied for this scheme. The first installment of ₹1,000 will be transferred to eligible women’s bank accounts by August 21. This initiative aims to enhance financial independence and support women in meeting their needs

 

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Maiya Samman Yojana, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Residency: Must be a resident of Jharkhand.

Income: Annual family income should be less than ₹1 lakh.

Bank Account: Must have a bank account linked to their Aadhaar card

Application Process:

1) Apply through the nearest CSC (Common Service Center) or panchayat office.

2)Visit the official website to check your application status.

Status Check Process:

•Go to the website and log in with your credentials.

•Click on “Status Check.”

•Enter your beneficiary number, mobile number, or Aadhaar number

•Complete OTP verification to view your application status.
