Stree 2" Shatters Box Office Records with ₹137.70 Crores Opening, Leaving "Veda" and "Khel Khel Mein" Behind

Latest news Stree 2″ Surges Past 100 Crores, Leaving “Veda” and “Khel Khel Mein” Struggling

A Blockbuster Opening for Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao

The much-anticipated sequel to the hit film “Stree,” titled “Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank,” has made a spectacular debut at the box office. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, “Stree 2” has achieved the biggest opening of their careers. In just three days, the film has crossed the 100 crore mark, amassing an impressive 137.70 crores. The film started strong with advance bookings totaling approximately 24 crores and continued its success by earning 46 crores on Saturday alone. Remarkably, 55.72% of tickets were sold for the evening shows.

Clash of the Titans: “Stree 2” Outshines “Veda” and “Khel Khel Mein”

Despite the release of two other high-profile films, “Stree 2” has outperformed its competitors significantly. John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s “Veda” has struggled at the box office, with earnings reaching only 11.60 crores globally. The film’s lackluster performance has been largely attributed to its clash with “Stree 2.”

Similarly, Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s “Khel Khel Mein” has also underperformed. The multi-starrer film has managed to earn just 9.95 crores over its first three days, failing to generate significant audience interest and remaining in single digits.

The Impact of “Stree 2” on Competitor Films

The release of “Stree 2” has clearly overshadowed both “Veda” and “Khel Khel Mein,” demonstrating the challenges of competing in a crowded market. While “Stree 2” continues to set new records, its competitors face an uphill battle in attracting audiences.

As “Stree 2” continues to dominate the box office, the performance of “Veda” and “Khel Khel Mein” underscores the significant impact of blockbuster releases on other films.
