PM Modi Stands Firm Against Attacks on Hindu Temples in Canada

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that he will not tolerate the recent attacks on Hindu temples in Canada. Expressing his outrage on social media, Modi stated, “I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. The cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats are equally appalling. Such acts of violence will never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law.”

Rising Tensions Attacks on Temples

Modi’s reaction comes in the wake of a second consecutive day of violence, during which Khalistan supporters attacked a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, injuring several worshippers. Reports from the victims indicate that despite police presence in and around the temple during the incident, the attacks continued unabated.

Canadian Government’s Response

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has condemned the violence at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, declaring the incidents “unacceptable.” He affirmed that every individual in Canada has the right to practice their faith freely and safely. Trudeau also expressed gratitude to the Peel Regional Police for their swift response in protecting the community and launching an investigation into the events.

As tensions rise, both leaders emphasize the importance of safeguarding religious freedoms and maintaining peace within their communities.
