Reports from the victims indicate that despite police presence in and around the temple during the incident, the attacks continued unabated.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has condemned the violence at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, declaring the incidents “unacceptable.” He affirmed that every individual in Canada has the right to practice their faith freely and safely. Trudeau also expressed gratitude to the Peel Regional Police for their swift response in protecting the community and launching an investigation into the events.
