Trump Hails Modi as a Top Global Leader and True Friend

Unbreakable Bonds Trump Praises Modi as a Global Leader and Friend

Former President Reflects on Their Strong Relationship and Shared Moments

Former US President Donald Trump recently praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him the “best leader in the world” and emphasizing their strong friendship. Speaking on the Flagrant podcast, Trump highlighted Modi’s transformative impact on India and his leadership qualities.

During the podcast, Trump stated, “Narendra Modi, he is my friend and the nicest person. Before he became Prime Minister, India was very unstable. From the outside, he looks like your father. He is the best.” This endorsement underscores Trump’s admiration for Modi’s ability to stabilize and lead India effectively.

Trump reminisced about the “Howdy Modi” event held in Houston, Texas, in September 2019. He described the gathering of around 80,000 Indian-Americans as “beautiful” and noted, “It was me and him, and it was crazy.” Trump emphasized the significance of the event, highlighting the warmth of the reception they received.

In a conversation regarding India-Pakistan tensions, Trump shared an anecdote from the Quad summit. Without naming Pakistan, he recounted how he offered his assistance to Modi during a threatening situation. Modi’s confident response, asserting, “I will handle it and do whatever is necessary. We have defeated them for many years,” left Trump impressed.

Both leaders have consistently praised each other, solidifying their friendship. Modi has referred to Trump as a “true friend,” while Trump reciprocates by lauding Modi’s leadership and personality. Their camaraderie was evident during Trump’s visit to India for the “Namaste Trump” event in Ahmedabad, which attracted over 100,000 attendees, marking a historic rally for a US President outside the country.

As the political landscape evolves, the strong bond between Trump and Modi continues to reflect their mutual respect and shared vision for their nations.
