Aircraft Crashes After 40-Minute Test Flight a two-seater Aircraft 152 from Sha-Shib Aviation Academy crashed in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, around 1 p.m. during a test flight. The plane had been in the air for approximately 40 minutes before the accident occurred at the airstrip.

 

Suspected Engine Failure Causes Devastating Impact

Initial investigations suggest engine failure as the likely cause of the crash. The aircraft, which was undergoing testing and maintenance at the Sha-Shib Academy, broke into two parts upon impact, highlighting the severity of the crash.

Pilots Injured but in Stable Condition


Captain VC Thakur and his co-pilot, both from Belgaum Aviation, were injured in the crash. They were immediately transported to a local hospital. According to local Police Station, both pilots are from Hyderabad and their condition is reported to be stable with no immediate threat to their lives.

Aircraft’s Background and Ongoing Investigation


The crashed aircraft belonged to Belgaum Aviation and was sent to Sha-Shib Academy for routine testing and maintenance. The pilots had arrived in Guna from Belgaum on Saturday for the test flight. Authorities, including the Cantt Police and academy officials, are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the engine failure and the circumstances leading up to the crash.
