Yogi Adityanath Announces Major Police Recruitment Drive and Slams Samajwadi Party in Kanpur Visit

Kanpur, August 29, 2024 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Kanpur today to participate in several key events aimed at boosting public welfare and development in the state. During his visit, CM Yogi launched a significant recruitment drive for the Uttar Pradesh Police, announced job creation plans, and criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP) for its past actions.

Recruitment Drive and Job Creation

In a major announcement, CM Yogi revealed that the Uttar Pradesh Police will recruit 1 lakh new personnel over the next two years, with 20% of these positions reserved for women. This move aims to enhance law enforcement capabilities and address the needs of a growing population.

Highlighting the ongoing recruitment process, CM Yogi assured that over 60,000 youths are currently undergoing the selection process, with a written exam scheduled in the next five days. He warned of severe consequences, including life imprisonment and property confiscation, for anyone attempting to disrupt the recruitment process.

He described the SP’s actions as “black deeds” despite their red caps, calling for a focus on nationalism and development over divisive politics.
