Guardiola and Manchester City Brace for Key Hearing as Tebas Weighs In

Manchester City Braces for Premier League Hearing as Guardiola Reacts to Tebas’ Comments

Manchester City is getting ready for a big hearing about their Premier League charges starting Monday. Manager Pep Guardiola knows that many people are eager to see what happens, but he remains calm. “I’m glad the hearing starts on Monday,” Guardiola said. “I know there will be lots of rumors about the outcome, but we have to wait and see. I believe everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and an independent panel will make the decision.

Guardiola mentioned that he and his players haven’t discussed the case much. “I’m not a lawyer, and neither are my players. We’re waiting to see what the independent panel decides and we will accept their decision,” he added.

Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, has been a strong critic of Manchester City. He recently said that many Premier League clubs believe City should be punished. Tebas shared these views with Mundo Deportivo, indicating that several clubs support sanctions against City.

Haaland’s Situation and Injury Updates

This week, Erling Haaland’s close friend Ivar Eggja passed away. Guardiola said it’s a sad time for Haaland and his family. “We’ll see if he’s ready to play against Brentford on Saturday,” Guardiola said.

Additionally, defender Nathan Aké got injured during a recent match and will miss at least seven games. “He’s expected to be out until the next international break,” Guardiola explained. “It’s unfortunate, especially since he often returns from national duty with injuries.”
